In order to prearrange downtimes we offer our customers the service of inspecting and documenting the gear box condition.
During such an inspection we use vibration analysis and noise measurement for determining the frequency range and the acoustic power range. This allows us to draw conclusions regarding the condition of the bearings and the gearings. Additionally we will generate a temperature fingerprint.
During plant downtime we can also carry out an endoscopy or a videoscopy for documenting the condition of the assemblies within the gear box.
Finally, it is expedient to set up a list of wear parameters by checking the oil for material and dirt particles as well as for the contained proportion of water.
All found parameters and the respectively necessary overhauling and/or modification options will be listed in an Inspection Documentation including a list of measures to be taken and a respective quotation.
The same type of inspection should be carried out annually, so that changes can be detected based on the comparison of parameters. This data can then point to a necessary preventive maintenance.
